Yep, the Indian Jerry Seinfeld.
And to think we all congratulated him when he nerdishly posted the Youtube clip of his first public stand-up performance. I'm now wishing I actually watched it rather than just rolling my eyes and posting words of encouragement. In hindsight, it was like patting the retarded cousin who cacked himself at the "why did the chicken cross the road" riddle/joke.

Everyone who could understand him was saying how great it was so I didn't say anything, but it did strike me as odd that no-one in the audience was laughing.

Would you if a standard one-liner turned into a farking dissertation?

And I wonder, did Jumbo make this call to Punter before or after the famous "spirit of the game" foot-in-mouthathon? Apologies if I have missed the detail, but I would assume the call came after Jumbo slagged us off at his seething press conference performance. Little wonder Punter told him to fark orf. If the call came before the press conference (but the captains do these straight after the game, no?) then it obviously contributed to Jumbo's mood.

Just bored full stop.

I reckon he composed one post with a 190 word limit. He has then proceeded with copy and pasting it in a different order for the last 5 farking days!

I've also as a positive managed to improve my skim reading skills. So for that I can thank Vikas.

I read that he called him at the end of the third day's play.

India has embarrassed itself in the eyes of the world with this incredibly sooky performance. I wonder if Punter offered the information outlined in this thread as evidence at the hearing?

You are giving "boring" a bad name, old chap. And your team is still 2-0 down in the series, and no amount 150 word bleating is gonna change that. onguard

Bat do you actually enjoy cricket?

The only posts you have ever made here have been when a controversy engulfs India or posts about your personal life which have nothing to do with cricket.

maybe go down to the park on a Saturday afternoon and watch the game with the little red ball and white clothes, decide if you actually like it or not.

Amusing. 3 dimwits with no understanding of the Indian language doing a research on whether an Indian's stand up act in Hindi was funny or no. Shows who the real retards are. Nice keep it up. If making fun of my stand ups makes you feel you have achieved something great in your life, then take it for what it's worth. Pretty amusing.

Actually, i'd say fair play to you for having the gumption to stand up and try and make people laugh.

However, if you will continually post enormously long posts, which may not be necessary to say what you are trying to say, then expect a luittle bit of rib tickling.

He simply warned ponting that there would be consequences for reporting an indian player for racism, we all know that you can't report an indian player for jaywalking without expecting a firestorm.

Or he just wanted the series to go on as normal, something he thought could be done with discussing these things among themselves, without descending into the chaos it has now.

I have no idea if it was funny or not. All I know is that I didn't hear anyone laugh. Unless laughing at someone's jokes is culturally offensive in India, in which case you were a riot.

I think many of us said "fair play", but he has bored us to death with his long, baffling logic. But, of course, I'm a dimwit, so what would I know? I eagerly await Vikas cleverly and wittily cutting and pasting this as an admission of my doltitude.

Maybe it never occured to you that doing a stand-up comedy on Indian films and posting on forums about cricket are not the same. So when you mix the two up, it only shows how less you people understand. We all have our forum fights. happens everywhere. If tommorrow I wished you on some achievement and then we had a forum fight, does it take away your achievement that I should have a go at it? No it doesnt. So commenting on my stand up shows in such a crap way is not going to take away the prize I won or the later successful shows I earned on it's account. Just shows you guys in a very bad light and nothing more.

At no point did he say he offered an apology, yet people here and elsewhere have taken the headlines as fact.

Im sorry but when the Indians start warning you about grave consequences for taking them on it sounds like a threat a rather credible threat when you look at people burning our countries flag because we reported a player.

Suggest you look at the video again. There is sufficient applause in it. One doesn't win first prize at such contests for nothing. If you can't hear the audience screaming 'Once More' in it and can't see the applause when I get the prize, than might as well get your ears checked.
