AFL 2014 - Page 9 Empty Re: AFL 2014

I heard the booing of Goodes in the second half - yeah I know Buddy got booed as well (and other former Hawks JK and McGlyn, and didges Brad Hill and Cyril, didn't) but the extra edge was obvious, and TBH it was bloody embarrassing. But in a crowd of 100 000 people there are bound to be a statistically guessable number of total dickheads.

Unfortunately it's something you need to bear in mind when you're weighing up whether to spend the time and money. Sorry if that sounds like a diplomatic non-keyboard-warrior version of 'if you can't take the heat....'.

congrats to the Hawks...too good...now I understand what it must be like to support the English cricket team when it is whitewashed 5-0.

Swans at least made the GF; sad for them that they played their worst game of the year in that match.

Very well played by the Hawks, who saved their best for the last match.

predictions for next year's GF? Hawks v Port, I suspect. Mostly the usual suspects making up the 8 ... North, Fremantle, Cats, Sydney, Gold Coast, Richmond.

Carlton, Collingwood, Essendon, Adelaide and Eagles (no Cox) to miss out, according to my unreliable crystal ball.

trades coming out fairly enough...that seems a fair crystal ball you use.

cannot see blues druggies or scumbos darkening the door of the 8...

pies may drop to 13th or thereabouts...they have the makings of a consistent cellar dweller...players that are keen to get out , a coach who was figjam even before Akhtar knew what pectin was and a hubris swollen boil as a President

Looks like McKenna is gone at Gold Coast.

Meanwhile the Lions have complained that #3 is too high a compensatory pick for the expected loss of Frawley.

Bulldog players not happy with their coach.

If the President saying you are safe is bad news for a coach ...being the focus of a review means you are definitely toast

Hawks got pick 19 for Buddy ....3 way too high for Frawley

Bulldog players might need to harden up a bit

Agree, and nice bit of assonance there. Smile

Frawley is overrated. It seems that average players can put themselves out as free agent and suddenly their value goes up.

There definitely seems to be a pattern emerging where every footballer and his dog thinks initially that he wants to go to Collingwood, but then he gets the guided tour and meets a couple of the people who'll steer his career if he signs, and he realises he'd rather carpet-glue his balls to the wall....

Frawley has officially nominated as a free agent.

The Dons will not challenge the court decision but Hird is considering mounting a challenge on his own.

It's official - Essendon are unappealing!

No word re Hird who may still be appalling but will not grace the Essendon B&F with an appearance, despite supposedly still being the coach. Thommo may have that gig back in time to present the winner (prob Dyson Heppel) with his medal.

Or indeed Addledville/Simon Goodwin.

When Bomber heard about Bluey on the news I' d guess he was on the blower to Little Paul before the start of the weather forecast, with some very helpful suggestions.

he is a disgrace...that said so is the druggies prez who said their concern is clearing the name of the 34 players...what a joke....he is about limiting the future liability of the Druggies...if the charges stick the druggies club will be faced with 34 law suits from players who were treated like pigs in a drug experiment lab.....Essendon face losing their license and goping into receivership
