Glossary update 2015
Hello everyone
Poster lardbucket has raised the opportunity of a Glossary update.
Please make any suggestions for additions, subtractions (although historical references are always useful to retain) or amendments in this thread.
I will leave the thread open for one month before making changes to the existing Glossary.
Regards
Fromage

Perhaps "Rolf" should be moved to an "obsolete" appendix.
Possibly also "Con"?

Re: Glossary update 2015
Yeah, we'll still use "Rolf" if he's pissing us off by taking wickets. The Hughes ones probably deserve a tasteful edit to the explanations though.
Must be lots of more recent new ones not yet in the glossary (probably mostly Aussie players) but hard to think of them off the top of my head.

Aye, but ROLF?
Incidentally, where is "Swampy"? I'm surprised SOS hasn't taken off on this Forum. Or at this stage SOS1, SOS2.
Or has it, and I missed it?

Re: Glossary update 2015
If history matters, the "Tangoman" entry needs a bit of nudging.
There's an O missing on "Tang" (Tang"?). And Tango Man on the TV ads was a rush-&-wardance shocking orange savage ... which gives that "extra credence" some sort of point, I spose.

Phurt. There are six other entries (just did the FIND) with variations on:
Not devised by the forum, but in wide use in it.
So why bar Swampy, and Swampy's sprogs?
