Another one:
Sydney Roosters forward Willis Meehan stood down after headbutting a man and stealing his watch
Date
April 7, 2015 - 12:43PM
Emma Partridge, Michael Carayannis
Willis Meehan has been stood down by the Roosters after he was charged with headbutting a man and stealing his watch near The Star casino in the early hours of Sunday.
Police said Meehan, 19 and Jovano Faingaanuku, 26, allegedly forced a victim against a wall on Union Street, Pyrmont about 2.30am.
Meehan allegedly headbutted the man and Faingaanuku then stole his silver wristwatch. The incident was allegedly captured on security footage.
"The watch owner was treated for superficial injuries to his face," police said.
City Central police arrested the men and took them to Newtown police station where Meehan was charged with robbery in company and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He was granted conditional bail and is expected to appear before court on May 6.
His 26-year-old co-offender was charged with robbery in company and goods in personal custody suspected being stolen. He will face court on April 29.
Meehan was sent home for breaching the strict no-alcohol guidelines at the NRL's rookie camp in 2013.
Meehan made his NRL debut last year and is also a talented boxer, having won the Australian amateur super-heavyweight boxing title. He is undefeated from three fights since turning professional in 2014.

Ben Hunt scores a try in overtime to give the Broncos a win over the Roosters.
He needed to score a try because his attempts at field goal were awful.

Bit of a towelling (31-6) of the Dogs by the mighty Drags, in another excellent defensive effort by the Red & White. Missed the Frizzell incident - what happened?
Tough tipping call next Friday night when the Drags meet the Broncs.

Broncs had the better of the 2nd half but Drags defended stoutly to run out 12-10 winners.

Re: Rugby League 2015
Daniel Vidot's name should be officially changed to Daniel V. Idiot.
In the first half he had the simple task of knocking the ball over the dead ball line but he stood there like a stuffed dummy & allowed the Dragons to score a try. Then in the second half he had the simple task of placing the ball over the line to score the try that would seal victory but he somehow managed to drop it.
Goose.
