Yup. The Broncos were probably the better side and their defence in the 2nd half was simply outstanding. But Hunt undid it all with the penalty Wally refers to (Thurston made a long gain from the ensuing kick and 5 tackles later Feldt scored in the corner to tie up the game), then the infamous drop from the extra time restart.

Still, it's hard not to feel sorry for the guy.

He's been one of the class halfbacks of the comp for two years. Might have even saved us in SoO last year if the selectors weren't so in love with Cherry-f'wit.

Not enough wa said about JT opting to kick rather than receive in extra time. Though the Gf should probably at least go to a period of real extra time before GP.

Not smashed (3 tries all) but the Bunnies had a virtual reserve grade side on the field.
