I'm watching the Elimination final of the Intrust Super Cup (aka Queensland Cup) between the Ipswich Jets & Easts Tigers. Matt Parcell is playing for the Jets & by halftime has scored 4 tries.

Parcell is a hooker who impressed when he played a few games for the Broncos this season. The Parcells are famous footballing family from Ipswich. His grandfather Gary Parcell played for Qld & Australia while his great-grandfather Percy Parcell also played for Queensland.

Unfortunately Matt Parcell has signed a 3 year contract with the Manly Coastal Filth.

Fark the Drags. Still, I got up this morning expecting a 0-6 loss to Dogs (as the scoreline read until 10 mins to go). Did we trip and fall over the try line a couple of times late??

Well the Drags farked up an otherwise good weekend on the punt.

Good to see someone else enjoying the second tier stuff too. Was wondering wher that kid had been all season.

Yeah. Esp as Marshall left the Tigers because they couldn't stand each other.

They won't be favourites if they make it to the GF though.

........... so the first preliminary final starts with the Roosters kicking off. The Broncos go through their set & when they get to the fifth tackle, Ben Hunt kicks downfield with a truckload of his team-mates chasing. Roosters winger Shaun Kenny-Dowall fields the ball one metre inside the sideline. He sees Roger Tuivasa-Sheck twenty metres infield & decides to throw a long pass to him. Blind Freddie could see what was going to happen. The ball had no chance of reaching RTS. Darius Boyd intercepts & races over to score the try. Shaun Kenny-Dowall looks for a place to hide. WideWally laughed.

Sydneysiders hate the Broncos, hate the Storm. I guess they would rather go for the Cowboys?

He should. But the loss can be covered, as could most of the positions outside the halves. I might actually put something on the Cows if JT plays. They surprised me.
