MB - are you in or near Canning? I can't believe the odds at the moment - Libs are 1.85 for a seat in WA that they hold by 12%.

Other side of the river to me
Randall had a good personal following
Lot of people not happy with Barnett and might take it out on Abbott (such is the logic of voters)

not sure what the libs (apart from MT) are thinking
And Trev knows a guy who knows a guy.
I reckon Abbott will hold on.
As much as I have personal respect for Abbott, I'm kinda hoping for a spill, with ScoMo becoming PM. I can't see the Libs winning the next election with the Monk in charge.
But please, not that arrogant pinko qunt Turnbull.

So Skullywags, you would prefer ScoMO, a hunker and down and testifier who gets all hot and bothered and speaks in tongues?
Give me the MM any day over that tea party type..
...and to keep you amused apparently there are photos somewhere on social media of Bronny B in cattle class spraying stuff on the chair and putting in her own cover

Is it the case that the only electable ticket/s is/are no-goers in the partyroom? I might add I can't think of a ticket that would do much better than the devil they've got. But as Labor need near 5% uniform to scratch home and Bill isn't exactly anyone's idea of a PM the MM may be not even need to go in to an election 48/52.
Crosby isn't going to let them lose a marginal seats campaign too badly, and the end result may be a comfortable enough (hey you can govern without one) majority with a shedload more marginals.

I'm an Abbott fan, h. I believe he is much maligned unfairly. A good man and excellent politician. However I will always go with the best man to keep the Good Guys in charge, so it's ScoMo for me.

Both Morrison and Turnbull are more poisonous than Abbott (hard as some might fund that to believe) ... Turnbull is a deceitful egotistical piece of shit and Morrison is as horrie has already pointed out a Tea Party type.

a young friend today remarked the Libs are like the crazed kitchen cupboard where the tupperware and plastic are stored...open the cupboard door and a mad jumble of plastic falls out.

Matt Thistelthwaite was quoted as saying that today.

Abbott suggested in Parliament today that the ALPs fear of cheap Chinese workers under the China FTA hallmarks of the White Australia Policy.

These people are never rational. For all Abbott's faults their problem with him is he's not enough of a right winger.

Embee - The MM is seen as too soft by those wallies.
Braddles - aah that great agrarian socialist McEwan. Wonder what he would make of the world today. His approach was to socialize losses in the farm sector but ensure profits were retained
