Re: Rugby League 2017
Stoopid Dogs lose to the Sheep, and useless Tits somehow overcome the Tigers (who are complete shit).
The Brayne Drayne scored a hattrick. WhyTF didn't he show some of this talent on Wednesday night?? Quntish Showpony!!!!

JT out for the season. Boyd out for game 3 too. NSW are specials for the SOO.
JT is also stuck on 299 first grade games.

Ethan Lowe does a JT.
No, he didn't bust a shoulder. He kicked a conversion from the sideline to win the game in the dying minutes.

Re: Rugby League 2017
I texted my brother at half time saying the Dragons season was over being down 28-10.
Somehow they won.
We still suck though.

The team has no work ethic. Full of showpony coconuts who switch on and off like a light bulb.

I barely watch leeeeeg now. If anything the nein commentators are worse than their cricket counterparts. Gus Gould really puts the fat into the fatuous.

Re: Rugby League 2017
I can't believe this. How can this Queensland team win this match (and the series) with all of those superstars unavailable through injury? And it wasn't just a win tonight. It was a dominant win.
I just can't believe it.
I can't believe it.
And everyone always knew that one day Cameron Munster would be an Origin star. He has had a huge game on debut.

Canberra win with a try in Golden Point thanks to the 40:20 of the year by Aidan Sezer. Actually it was a 30:20.

Meh. Usual stuff from the Drags who always lose golden point. I'm still basking in the SOO win.

You would think the Sharks should be able to play in the wet but apparently not.
The first half was played in atrocious conditions.

Not all Leeeeeggggg players are nobs:
Trent Hodkinson gives terminally-ill Hannah the ‘perfect night’
July 20, 2017 11:01am
RUGBY league star Trent Hodkinson is a “knight in shining armour” for taking a 15-year-old girl with terminal cancer to her high school formal, her mum said today.
Year 10 student Hannah Rye floored her classmates at Kurri Kurri High when she arrived hand-in-hand with her date — the Newcastle Knights playmaker — at the “winter formal” which had been specially brought forward because she may not live to see the year out.
“It was like Cinderella and her knight in shining armour,” her mother Racheal Rye, from Kurri Kurri, in the Hunter region, said.
“It was absolutely a magical moment when Trent turned up with a big bunch of flowers at our house. A perfect night.
“No girl could have asked for a better date. He was a perfect gentleman. He stayed for as long as she needed and helped cut the cake.”
Hannah was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, Ewing sarcoma, in October 2015, which involved tumours growing around her spine.
Despite intensive hospital treatment she suffered a relapse in May this year when her family was told the cancer was “terminal”.
Hodkinson stayed to cut the cake and gave Hannah “the perfect night”.
“It has been devastating for us,” Mrs Rye said.
Mrs Rye said the school and Hannah’s classmates had been tremendously supportive in holding the “winter formal” so her daughter, who is now receiving palliative treatment, could attend.
Hodkinson is an ambassador for Give Me 5 for Kids and had met Hannah in hospital last year and comforted her.
“He’s the most genuinely gorgeous person. It’s really made a difference,” Mrs Rye said.
“Hannah has been incredibly unwell — you wouldn’t believe that just a few days ago she couldn’t get out of bed. It was a very big deal for her and she’s now resting.”
