Aye, the Drags had given up on keeping him. Still, should free up some cap money for some other decent players on the market.

Re: Rugby League 2017
Seems not only the Aus cricketers are threatening to go on strike
"Two days from the first 2017 Origin game, Queensland's captain Cameron Smith has taken a savage swipe at the National Rugby League's (NRL) handling of the collective bargaining agreement negotiations between the code, clubs and the players association.
"We want to work in partnership with them, not against them. We don't think we are sticking our hand in for a cash grab for the players at all," Smith said.
The relationship between the governing body and the players is at boiling point after the players association accused the NRL of misrepresenting their proposal for 2018 to the game's 16 clubs.
It is understood that players want a larger share of the revenue from lucrative broadcasting deals."

Do the administrators not know what keeps the fans coming back?

This has got John Grant (ARL Commission chairman) and all round qunt written all over it. Apparently* NRL chairman Todd Greenberg cannot keep the former's nose out of his business.
Grant has the attitude of the Australian Cricket Board back in the post-WSC days.

SO the Drags fell over the line v Tigers. Oh well, a win is a win, but they remain imposters in 3rd place. At least they've probably avoided the spoon.

How wet is it in Sydney at the moment?
Apparently Manly won the game after blatantly cheating. Nothing ever changes!

Dropped the ball over the line. Should have been no try.
Re: Rugby League 2017
Canberra led 20 - 12 with two minutes remaining but the Panthers scored two tries to snatch victory. Moylan heavily involved in both.

Everyone was lauding Mary McGregor through the week. I knew that'd mean the Dogs would belt us.
It came to pass - 16-2 Dogs v Drags. Soft qunts.

Billy Boofhead moves to Squall midseason
"MELBOURNE Storm has bolstered its depleted forward pack with NRL veteran Nate Myles signing for the rest of the season.
The NRL ticked off on the deal on Tuesday morning, allowing Myles, 31, to join the Storm immediately. But an elbow injury is set to rule him out of a debut against North Queensland on Saturday afternoon at AAMI Park.
A journeyman, Myles has played 230 games across four clubs including Gold Coast, Canterbury, Sydney Roosters and Sea Eagles.
Myles, who played 32 games for Queensland, was on Monday dropped from the Maroons side for Origin II."

Perhaps the Fighting Forehead wants to get as far away from Qld as possible after getting the arse from the Cane Toads.

One of his contract clauses is that the Storm can project the AAMI scoreboard onto his forehead.

The mid-season madness continues
"THE Roosters have released veteran centre Shaun Kenny-Dowall from the remainder of his contract effective immediately.
Kenny-Dowall was stood down by the club in May after he was allegedly caught in possession of cocaine at a nightclub in Sydney.
“Shaun has made a significant contribution to the Roosters’ on-field success across his 13 years at the club, and for that, we thank him,” said Sydney Roosters CEO Joe Kelly.
“The club wishes Shaun all the very best in the future,” he added."

Anyone need a coke-head centre?

Soft cock Drags trailing the shitty Slimeys 12-4 at HT.
Maybe they won't win another one this season now that Mary has been given a two-year extension.
