Scoring at over six an over is a pretty hood start. Having no wickets at the end is hella funny.

Can't even last thirty-five overs.

Whitewash talk is making England bottle it. I think this is why we won't win the World Cup, always have an off day and don't have the killer instinct you need.

you bat to 10 (at least) and Buttler is still there
just practicing putting pressure on themselves

When did this pitch become a minefield? That’s about 190 runs for 15 wickets...

In a nutshell.
The Aus bowling yesterday was park stuff.
Stanlake may be 7 feet tall, but he sprays it around like a bad cold.
Richardson J. tries too hard with his yorkers (full tosses more like), whlst Neser and Stoinis just haven't got a clue
about "bowling to your set field" ...
Agar, not surprisingly, had the most impact and deserved his 2 wickets.
England's fielding, it has to be said, was top drawer.
The Roy/Overton catch off Marsh was just sublime.
Five - zip certainly on the cards now.
So how does one put a champagne cork back in the bottle?

Strange game, this.
Are they still watching the footie while going through the motions? Or tuning in and out of focus ... in the heat?
Or just taking OT batting lessons from Lancs?
I thought England were signing off after slumping to 8 down for 120 or so - chasing a meagre series-unwinding total of 200 by the Aussies.
It seems they're still playing, somehow.

You don't.
You leave the cork on the table, chill the champagne and toast Buttler and Rashid for ensuring the Five - Zip scoreline.
T'was never in doubt.

To be honest I didn't see Australia choking that badly.

What an innings by Buttler. And he was brilliant behind the stumps as well. One of the best all round performances I've seen from a keeper batsman.

When he gets it right, he's a matchwinner, all right.
Scored more than half of England's runs - coming in at 6.

Still a JAMITT to go, I’d forgotten about that.
Australia then seemingly heading off to Zimbabwe for a SODTTIT next week, according to BBC fixture list.

I think yesterday was one of the few occasions where it wasn't JAMODI, for me anyway. Obviously not a 5-0 Ashes series but it's still very sweet and a nice bit of history. More pressure on Buttler's innings than had it been 2-2 as we've won loads of one day series against Australia but never 5-0.
