The Slime put 60 on the Tigers in the Spoon Bowl.
Meanwhile, the R00ters are 20 points up on the Bunnies with a few minutes left.

Re: Rugby League 2024
So top 4 are settled.
Penrith win tonight locks 2nd for them. Sharks can't top the R00ters for 3rd and Sharks can't be topped by anyone for 4th.
So Week 1 of Finals sees...
Storm v Sharks at AAMI Park
and
Penrith v R00ters at Penrith Park.

Re: Rugby League 2024
In the bottom half of the top 8, the Cows have locked up 5th for a home Final.
A win for the Coastal Filth v Sharks tomoz would see them finish 6th for a home Final. If not, the Dogs get the home Final and Manly finish 7th.
The winner of Knights v Dolphins tomoz will finish 8th. If they draw (including extra time) the Raiders sneak 8th.
So the 2 games tomoz (Manly v Sharks & Knights v Dolphins) have real impact on the make up of 5-8 in the Finals..

No IMHO. In fact I can't see anyone but Storm or Penrith winning this year.

Is that definite, Nath?
The last I saw, Channel 9 have Cowboys v Knights on Saturday night & Bulldogs v Sea Eagles on Sunday afternoon.

Re: Rugby League 2024
Dogs and Filth fans are pissed off about having a Sunday Finals game, while Panthers and R00ters get the Friday night game.
This means the winner of Dogs v Manly will have two days less rest than the loser of Penrith v Easts.
Personally, I love it when Bulldogs and Coastal Filth fans are upset.

Footballers ay? What a pack of dickheads.
Josh Addo-Carr failed a roadside drug test after Friday night training. Tested positive to cocaine.
Not a great lead up for the Dogs' elimination final on Sunday.

Re: Rugby League 2024
Perfect 1st Half of Finals football from Penrith. 100% completions, no dropped ball, hardly a missed tackle, 24 unanswered points.
R00ters were not in that Half from the second Tupou dropped Cleary's 1st bomb.

Re: Rugby League 2024
Not so perfect 2nd Half by the Panthers, but they did enough.
It's amazing when the foot just gets taken off slightly, the other team can respond. The R00ters did that and got back to 24-10, but Penrith regrouped, Cleary asserted himself to set up Penrith's 5th try with an inch-perfect grubber into the in-goal and the Panthers finished it off.
I can't see anything but a Penrith-Storm Granny.

Sharks redeem a pretty poor 1st Half effort with a converted try seconds before the Oranges bell. 14-10 to Storm.

Aye Nath. Storm blew them away in 2nd Half.
I reckon the Sharks will go out in straight sets again.
