Half the Victorian Shield team were AFL footballers at one stage ... Bedford, Watson, Rose, Walker, maybe Swanson (??); and the Vomits also used to recruit from the WA Shield team (Young, Duperouzel, Spalding).

True enough, although I don't follow the game any more as it's been thoroughly emasculated.

Saint Kilda ...a Vomit version of Fremantle ...a
team full of low draft picks and rejects from other clubs ...have the
ability to play absolute crap against all expectations ...or to play
well enough for a moral victory against a top side ...have won one
premiership ...by a point ...against Collingwood
...in 1966 ...not
likely to add to that in the near future
Which is enough reason to support them through thick and thin.

VoR's girlfriend is a Saints fan.

Dockers good for a moral victory ...

St's could indeed lose if the Bombers run them off their feet

No tip ...Doesn't that give you the away team?

it usually does...

a mate leads our tipping comp by 3 and stands to collect $1k...and is 2nd (1 behind) in a bigger comp...am avoiding him today as he will want to know what I am tipping - understandably so he can tip the opposite...as a tipster my form is on par with the shockers

I was watching on delay. I suppose we've just found out what a selfish prick Fev is. There's meant to be no I in team but it was all about him. People get suspended for a week by leadership teams yet he demanded the ball. Forget about other forward targets. Suffer Blues. No wonder you got thumped you tankers.
