They'd "prang" everyone, not just the ones you mention. They prang everyone equally.

Re: West Indies v Sri Lanka, 2nd Test, PoS, 3-7 April
I'm not asking for green tops as we can't really produce them in the Caribbean, just pitches like those in Barbados and Jamaica that have good bounce and a little bit of movement here and there. It makes for good cricket as edges carry to slip, you get wickets if you bowl well and you can get carted if you bowl dross as the ball comes onto the bat nicely. Jerome Taylor troubled SL with pace in Guyana FFS, don't you think he would cause plenty of trouble when those edges actually carry to slip?
It is a learning process with our team being easily the youngest (average age wise) of the established test nations. A lot of the problems with our batsman's techniques have come from playing on slow low nothing pitches from Under 15 level onwards. IMHO the decline of pitches in the West Indies have had the largest say in the quality of batsman that are coming through.

I have just heard that Windies have dropped both spinners and have kept Devon Smith in the xi. If this is true then I am supporting Sri Lanka.
I am fed up of this nonsense.

Go Sri Lanka!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Enough is enough. I fear some Trinis will boycott this match, especially if SL get off to a good start.
Fidel bowled a bunch of tripe this week, while Jaggernauth took 10/71 and still can't get a game.

Powell is so terrible. Bowling short and on both sides of the wicket. This might well be his last test for a while (says hopefully).
Taylor might be going for runs but he is bowling the right line and length.

Jaya in plenty of trouble. Unlucky Fidel. He nicked that one. Knowing Ramdin, thought he'd have 'snaffled' that one up.
Re: West Indies v Sri Lanka, 2nd Test, PoS, 3-7 April
Sama getting squared up now. Good bowling by WI. Just the sort of conditions they need, as I said earlier in the thread.
Edged and gone as I speak.

The Windies let the Sri Lankans off the hook in that last period of play. Dilshan has (as always) played his shots, and he's got away with it. Advantage Sri Lanka now.

Geez, I thought "what a crap day's cricket - only 217 runs" but the Lankans got 'em at 4.7 an over in half a day. Well played Dilshan and Silva to rescue the Lankans from 5-117.
