Inexplicably kept out of the team for all these years. His doosra spins and bounces more than Afridi's leg breaks.

Every off spinner in Pakistan bowls a doosra, don't they? With all of that raw, untapped talent, it must be easy for someone to slip through the net.

Theory One : His action would be deemed illegal under international scrutiny

Theory Two : His action would be be perfectly fine and all the other cheating doosra bowlers would have to be suspended

Theory Three : Pakistani Selectors are idiots

Theory Four : He's not a Dubber

Yep, I was impressed with him in that match against India. Looks like Pak may have wasted another talent.

how can you slip through the net if you are playing domestic cricket for so long?

Even now the selectors weren't going to play him had it not been for Misbah.

If they are like dubbers then it would be somewhere close to the Khyber Pass....

No, they're everywhere in India and Pakistan. It's a 'state of mind'.

I'd go with 3 or 4. It's a difficult choice.

not necessarily .
I can't think of the right word

I will give you an example
Javed Miandad- Great Pakistani batsman
Faisal Iqbal- Javed's nephew and a poor batsmen yet he got to play 25-26 tests
hence

Faisal Iqbal= Sifarishi because he got in to the team because of his connections and not because of his batting ability.

Both A Rauf and Ajmal were offered a ton of money to head to ICL but both declined.

Wish A Razzaq was equally wise.

This bowler looked really good, was accurate and had good variations including a doorsa which he used quite cleverly. I hope he is persisted with in the Pak team.
