Shreck on the rampage.
Three quick wickets as Sussex slide from 318/5 to 330/8 and Notts are back in the game.

Another for Shreck, 331/9.
What's the story at Blackpool?
Looks pretty clear across the country both now and overnight last night, but the Lancs v Slurrey game has already been abandoned for the second day running.
Badly waterlogged from previous downpours I assume?

You would assume so - it's a club ground isn't it?

Durham are so f'king lucky it's unreal. A minefield at home and they get off. A minefield away and their superior seam bowling comes to the fore. They've probably got enough to win the match already and the title is just about theirs. Meanwhile, the rest of us are playing on proper pitches and paying for it.

He's been a little better this season, still mediocre as f*ck.
Shantry's a good bowler. Prediction was easy.
If he keeps playing, he'll take wickets. If he does this, he'll be in England contention within 2 years, 6'4, left-arm, 85MPH + ...

Mark Davies 8-24
Is this guy really that special - got outstanding figures in FC cricket but just looks a medium paced journeyman to me?

Always reminded me of Lewis FFS with more nip.
And look how well he's done.

He's a top, top bowler . . . when fit.
I think he's top of the First Class bowling averages this season, comfortably already I believe, and by some distance I would imagine once the above is factored in.
He's got a wonderfully fluid, repeatable action.
Could have been England's Shaun Pollock, or dare I say it, perhaps even a poor man's Glenn McGrath had he stayed fit for any decent period during his career.

He's like McGrath. But better . Saw him bowl against Northants last season. Think he took 6fer or 7fer in the first innings. He had the ball on a string. Then got injured second innings. Microcosm of his career.
