And 217 FC career wickets @ 20.88 - streets ahead of anyone else in the country. I bet he'd still be like Martin Saggers if he stepped up a level...

Not turned 28 yet - still time to find out, if he ever finds an uninterrupted spell in his career.

Yip - 101*
Looking good for a 200 run lead. Less of the chavs purleese - Essex is one of the least crime ridden parts of the country unlike Nottingun

Somerset v Worcestershire at 4.30. I've done all my chores so I'm ready to sit and watch. Hope they've got some sun in Taunton.

FFS. Heard Vaughany chased a wide one that didn't need playing? Gifted it away.

Just because there's less crime than you'd expect, it doesn't mean the place isn't full of chavs. It just means that they're law-abiding, peaceful chavs. Like Jodie Marsh.

Yet another ton for Rudolph. The man's a machine. Surely he's got to be recalled for South Africa if he does this next season as well. He's got the ability to be the new Jacques Kallis.

When he left SA he said he was going kolpak for 3 years and then wanted to play for SA again.
Things might have changed.

Immaterial. He's played for another nation. More chance of Vince van der Bijl playing for us.
Re: English county season 2008 (V)
Trott played for SA Under 19's yet also played for England last year.
And KP had certainly played for the SA provinces in their senior team.

That's not the senior international side, me little cherub sparrow. World of difference. Been an unspoken policy for a long time.

He or Trott have never played for SA at full international level.
KP played about 6 games in SA FC cricket.

Even back to the 19th century, all of the players who have played tests for Australia and another country, made their test debut for Australia. I think Midwinter played for Australia, then for England (after Grace kidnapped him) & then for Australia again.

Re: English county season 2008 (V)
Interesting.
So which countries have NOT yet chosen players who had previously made their Test debut for another country?
From the above, I guess England is excluded. Wessels, Traicos, and numerous players disqualify South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Pakistan.
I also seem to recall a West Indian player who subsequently represented New Zealand, but cannot recall the details ...

India, Pakistan, England, NZ, SA and Zimbabwe have all selected a player who has played for another country. Aus, WI and Bangladesh haven't.
