Re: The Olympics Thread
GB do fund their campaign to a much richer degree than us - FACT!
And they have access to some forty million more people. So you'd expect them to waste us on the medal table. We've eclipsed them during the past few games though.

As for the GB 'funding' remark bit rich coming from an Aussie. Eh Rob?
And Horrie has obviously been gang raped in the past by a group of Poms.
You're suggesting only once?
It's only rape if you don't consent.
Or change your mind half-way through . . . or don't pay . . . or so I'm told . . .

We're 20 years behind in the funding stakes Rob. And Australia have access to a more sporting culture...

If only the poms had sent us a few slaves as well as convicts . . . we'd be winning the track and field as well . . .

Re: The Olympics Thread
The GB facilites are classed as 'Third World' standard and the funding is relatively a pittance.

I did say as racist, sir. I think you'll find that covers me well.
Re: The Olympics Thread
I don't care what you say, check the figures, check even the bluster coming from the poms, they are more generously funded than us.
Their sports minister even wants a bet with ours on the basis that they'll win more gold than us.
Should be done a population pro rata basis though.
Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and South Africa are the underperformers though among the commonwealth cricket nations when it comes to the Olympics when you factor in population size.

Is that from a governmental point of view? Day-to-day people are more racist in Australia, as you know.
