What a joke. I bet Sir Viv felt really proud today.
England 7-0. Had India been in their position they would be sending in their appeal to have the match given to them as a win.

England supporters will ber pleased to know that Hugh Morris wrote a letter to the match referee on Thursday about the state of the outfield.

Basil,
Oh don't be so mischievous. Are you telling me you would rather Morris had no written proof that he called the alarm before the match started?

Only problem is he posted it from Wales. So it's got a while before it reaches the WI yet.

I just hope it was in his best joined-up! I suppose as an arse covering exercise, it will prove very effective.

Just when W.I. cricket took a step forward earlier this week, it's taken an even bigger step backwards today.

Remember the WI-Eng test that was called off after ten overs, in case someone got killed?

It was on Athers' tour I think. Bit of an over-reaction by England then. No-one was going to be killed - not with all the protection batsmen wear.

Batsmen hit seven times in ten overs.
Remember Stewart wearing one just under his windpipe from a ball that was pitched as a half-volley.
Shocker.

Trust the WICB to ruin the momentum that our much maligned players had built up through a magnificent performance on the field.
In happier news Adrian Barath is 155 not out in our domestic cricket.
He has 1000 + FC runs at an average of almost 50 at the age of 18. No doubt the WICB will do their best to fugg up a talent like him with shambolic administration.

Oh dear. Windies in "COARIAB" shocker.
Reminds me of a night not so long ago when I cursed at the tools who call themselves organisers of one of the JAMODIs during our last visit to the Caribbean. Before a ball was bowled the farkin sightboard broke down and the first 40 minutes was lost. FFS.

Great effort from Cook and Strauss and England not to lose a wicket for the day.
Yet more West Indian incompetence to follow the inglorious World Cup.

Nothing wrong with the wicket, it's just the run-ups that are good impressions of Trev - sand-filled stretches of uselessness.
