Re: Wimbledon
And on the theme of likeable champions, there's a 'poll' on teh Winbledon site where you can vote for your favourite Wimbledon champions of all time.DJ_Smerk wrote:Twat? Have you ever met him personally?
McEnroe wasn't exactly likable but he still did extremely well.

If you bother to click through, on the Women's vote, they have Miss E Goolagong and Mrs R Cawley listed spearately. Hopefully they're combining the votes...

And who's Mrs. J. M. Lloyd? I suppose, Mrs. Greg Norman.. right?
Overhyped sports event with stupid tradition and culture, IMO. Why a person should be known as a spouse of someone else and not by herself?

And Sharapova out in the second round. Mirza out as well as she once again failed to move past 2nd round.
Federer played few of his stunning shots but isn't as fluent as he was 2 years back!

Re: Wimbledon
Hewitt looks like losing to Radek Stepanek who's main claim to fame, I think, was being on of Martina Hingis' hapless lovers.
Fed through to the QF - looks like he'll play Ivo Karlovic who I think might have a bit of a chance given that his serve has barely been broken all tournament.

The useless Scot Murray is losing. Typical Jock!
But Andy the plucky Brit might pull it round for us yet.

Looks like the British player will pull through...
Have to say Centre court looks rather cool with the roof closed and play going on at a quarter past ten at night.
