This series must seem even longer for the Indian fans, Dello. Spare a thought.
Can they bring in a law to limit oDI series to 3 games . . . or at most 5?

Indian fans don't ask BCCI to organise 7-ODI series.
And its not as if BCCI is the only board in the world to organise 7-ODI series. ECB did this when India toured Eng earlier this year. UCBSA has done this quite a few times in last decade or so.
CA has been organising that piece of crap triseries every year since eternity and its even longer than 7-ODI.

I expect Rohit Sharma to play in place of either Dravid or Tendulkar.

Who said Indian fans organised this? And I agree about the Tri-series, hence my comment on a rule about the length of ODI series. So, what is your point?

Or may be both of them in place of Tendulkar and Dravid.

For crying out loud during the footy season there are at least 12 games a week every week and thats only two codes.

Five ODIs should be the limit.

Any more than five, and they start cutting off fingers.

This series just displayed that the Aussies don't need to lose to have a sook.

I'm not looking for it.
If you find a smiley that you think might be worth a laugh, post it on the board and I'll consider it...

India-
Tendulkar
Ganguly
R.Sharma
Yuvraj
Badrinath
Uthappa
Dhoni
Pathan
Kartik
Zaheer
Sreesanth
No way will they rest Tendulkar from a Mumbai game, unless they want to cause a riot.

Probably true. This might be Tendulkar's last ODI (unless BCCI schedules a special ODI for him) at his home ground as India is not scheduled to play an ODI at home until Eng visits India in Nov-08 for 3 tests and 7 ODIs. Don't think even then Mumbai would be getting a game.No way will they rest Tendulkar from a Mumbai game,

No, we just need racism and the refusal of the local authorities to admit and/or confront it.doremi wrote:This series just displayed that the Aussies don't need to lose to have a sook.will the aussies sook after it?

Why bother with the sane 7 + 4 policy now, the series is already lost. Morons (not calling you Trev, the Indian selectors). Badrinath needs to play, he has been super prolific for close to 4 years now in domestic cricket, has added shots to counter his initial grafter image and is a brilliant fielder. And he is as ready as he will ever be.
