I'll be livid if he tries to 'help' Harris.

Why tinker with something which doesn't appear broken/wrong/awkward?

I'm no cricket coach, but he's got the basics sorted in terms of Action. Uncomplicated, flowing, decent pace. Gotta sort out some of the balls which start drifting wider of off stump when he starts to tire. It's good that a majority of his wickets are LBW or bowled, which shows he's accurate when the time is right.

Obviously, it could be down to dodgy umpiring or inside edges onto stumps. However, from what I've seen he's been pretty good to watch. I'm going against a forum trend and being optimistic Wink.

Scott Newman to Middlesex - decent import ... Muddlers need some experience in the top order.
Nick Compton leaving Middlesex - a shame if he does ... Grandad will be spinning in his grave.

Compo will be a loss because he was just beginning to establish himself ...

Unless I'm imagining it, I read somewhere that Varun Chopra wants to leave Essex - if he does that may well be where Compton ends up.

Danny, I see Cummings has been released through the fact he has been advised never to play cricket again!! Shame as he started the season promisingly for you last year!

I was disappointed as I thought he was a good player (for Leics). Not sure how much he did for us - I reckon it was only pre-season.

Was the best bowler you had pre-season from what I heard, and did a number on a few of the better Middx batters early season!!

BAsically they have told him, play again and you may not walk! Not good, feel sorry for him, when the gashlords like Logan can still get a game!

Oh Joisus, I didn't know it was that bad. You hardly hear of a player nowadays who'd get that diagnosis. TBH we could've done with him next year, not sure who's getting retained. We could be weakos again in the bowling dept.

Adshead not joining Worcs. according to Bumpy - heaven only knows who we will end up with as the word is that Batty is going to Glos. I have a feeling in my water that we might end up with Paul Nixon - no proof, but he wasn't keeping for The Foxes by the end of the season, and we might just need someone to keep a place warm for Ben Cox.

Glamorgan's chances of promotion aren't great. I firmly believe that we showed increased promise of going that much further next season.

Hopefully, Cozzy will unleash hell on the rest of the teams, espesh Worcs! Wink

I'm glad Lancs have opted for a West Indies fast bowler in their search for pace and penetration, but Darren Powell? Yes he can bowl quickly and very well on occasion, but he is brainless as can be and is completely useless if he doesn't take wickets with the new ball.

If they offer him $1 Million he will bowl at the speed of light though Very Happy

On reflection this is wonderful news that Powell has opted to Kolpak as it removes the temptation for our crazy selectors to pick him ever again...

James Harris talks on USA and India.

He also discusses the Cardiff pitch, putting on weight and other things. To be honest, he's an astute lad.

Aye, we're desperate to win back our one and only trophy (the T20 tin pot) in almost a decade!! Very Happy

Middlesex County Cricket Club are delighted to announce that they have secured the services of Australian legend Adam Gilchrist, to spearhead their challenge for Twenty20 honours in 2010.

Looks like everyone's taking this circus far too seriously now.

BanIndia.
