TV is a driver, but it's no good to them if it's played in half empty grounds.
I get that. It's what happening with 50 stuff. The answer is to limit the supply to a number where the punters still want more.
Don't suppose you want to take over CA, the EDB, ICC.....?

The letter D should not be so close to the letter C on a keyboard.

I don't want to support "Melbourne", I want to support "Victoria". And screw the idea of a draft. It's getting worse and worse.
I liked the idea of best of 3 T20I. Maybe 5 JAMODIs and best of 3 T20I per series

Re: t20 overkill, coming soon to Australia
It's funny how the Poms have had people toying with the idea of reducing the number of teams, to very little positive response, because people want to support a county, not a homogenised district. Now in Aus there's talk of 'expanding' the t20 comp to have more 'franchises', which won't be supported if Nath's any indication.
And of course, people in country areas, won't have any 'local' franchise to be attached to.

Indeed. As soccer in Australia has shown, you can't manufacture sporting tradition.

Yeah you'd think they'd be able to organise their bullshit a bit better with a years planning.
Still they had a couple of hundred years to get ready to fark the Balkans upo and made a right mess of it.

FFS. Seriously, if this happens it would be ridiculous. And if they're after the test series they will somehow be even more pointless than usual.
Ban Australia.
Ban Australia.

Most people couldn't care less about the county game. The reason it doesn't go through is because the counties make up the controlling body of the ECB, and turkeys don't vote for Christmas. Personally, I couldn't care less if they all went bust.
