Could we see the UK go back to the polls before they actually leave Europe?
I was wondering that, but don't the election laws prohibit that, or can an election be held for emergency circumstances?
Surely it is possibly in the event that no party can command a majority on the floor of the House. Time for Her Maj to earn her wage.
Her money has just dropped by half.
Maybe a Pom here knows the rules.

Devastating. Shouldn't be surprised though... The most ill informed public since Victorian times, yet have so much information at their fingertips. I knew that a decent proportion of my compatriots were f*cking qunts, I didn't know it was this many. Not the sort of place I want to be nailing my semen to, TBH. Really. Never felt as disenfranchised. Scum.

Looks like the Midlands & Northeast were the biggest voters to leave. London,Scotland & Northern Ireland were the biggest to stay.
Re: UK politics thread
You should have compulsory voting like we do. At least then you know you are getting the vote of the people.
Re: UK politics thread

For dumbness, this result would be on a par with the Yanks voting in Trump as President. I don't think the latter will happen.
Heavy commiz to our UK friends.

Considering something like that. Tired of the country, tired of my town. They're a constant disappointment.

Cheers skulls - a similarly retarded thing to do is vote Boris Johnson in as PM, which seems likely

Aye, jokes aside first thing I said on the phone to my Dad this morning was that I might move to Scotland, my Mum is thinking along similar lines too apparently.Brass Monkey wrote:JGK wrote:Brass Monkey wrote:Devastating. It shouldn't have ever been put to a public vote in the first place, I'm not an expert on economics or the ramifications of this vote and therefore I shouldn't be allowed to vote on it (I voted remain because of a fear of the unknown), it's irresponsible. I'm going to take a wild guess and say that the same applies to the vast majority of the 52% who have voted us out.

Basically, the older you are, the more likely you are to have voted for Brexit. So, my children are going to spend their lives paying for the calamity foisted on us by a bunch of coffin dodgers who won't be around long enough to witness unravelling of a once great country.

I'm worried about the short term economic effect of this, but at the same time I'm quietly proud that Britain has stood up and defied the European cronies. Up yours Junker, Merkel and co.
You feel proud that a nation will go through economic turmoil, recession, redundancies etc..? Easy to say when it won't affect you even half as much as it will the people that actually live in this country, but as long as you feel proud, eh, Mudge.

Re: UK politics thread
Very pleased I don't work at my previous job any more.
There's a known UKIPer who has been walking around with a beaming smile shaking everyone's hand and saying "Happy independence day!".
Would have been worth losing the job by smacking the qunt.
