Re: UK politics thread
Craps. May as well play the pokies or go to that laneway near central station (Sydney) and blow it on two up.

Might be better to ask for its range, or the recent HbA1C. A single level isn’t really helpful.

Bouncing between 6.0 and 9.0 based on twice-a-day monitoring over the past 2 weeks (on medication).

Pretty good. Must have been a fair bit higher before if concern was expressed.

Meh... with my dice and some large friends around. Still it is the only game I will play. Wont play poker unless it is a private game and have not done that for a long time. The shaving of odds by Crown on on BlackJack etc is near criminal ... let alone pokies.
Since filth Lloyd Williams day there has been a clear career progression between the govt regulator and Crown. "Rotund Rohan Craigie - come on down."

Htf do you shave the odds on blackjack? Unless you're actually reducing the payout on blackjack.

In some houses, there are no stand-offs either ... if you don't beat the house, you lose. Apparently some houses also win if they 'score' no more than 22!
It's a mug's game.

FFS! Bj used to be the best chance you had in a casino. Farking arseholes. (Rich arseholes obviously). Oh well guess I'll stick with cricket.

There used to be this place in Marseille where it was complimentary if you'd put enough over the tables.

Don't normally watch The Project and don't really give a rat's about brexit, apart from the fact it might be good for beef, but Waleed has just skewered Garage over his EU pension.

The UK is 1 foot from falling off a cliff due to a non binding consultation with the public. It's absolutely ludicrous.

Completely bizarre set of circumstances. It just shows how venal and destructive the alt-right really is. People like Nigel Falangist should be exiled in some Zeus forsaken spot eg the White House.
Even in the improbable event May's model gets through Parliament there is no guarantee the EU will sign up.
It is remarkable that people simply thought they were voting on kicking Poles out. No-one bothered to tease out to the public what a debacle Brexit would be on all manner of fronts.

The EU has signed up to it, that’s why it’s got to this stage.horace wrote:Completely bizarre set of circumstances. It just shows how venal and destructive the alt-right really is. People like Nigel Falangist should be exiled in some Zeus forsaken spot eg the White House.

What happens if Parliament says no is anyone’s guess really. March off the cliff on a point of principle, scrap the whole idea, or kick the can down the road?
