Toddled off when Engulund were 7-128. That's a darn good fightback by Prior and Broad. The wicket looked to be flattening out though. Maybe MoYo can cash in.
Well done to Wahab Riaz on getting a Michelle on debut.

Nice to see Drunky doesn't have a complete mortgage on stoopidity.Jontyh wrote:I'm sure this has already been mentioned, but anyone else think it was a Punteresque decision to bat? Overcast morning, Paksters struggling for batting form, but we'll bat anyway because that's what you do if you win the toss..

We only really have two batsmen in form at the moment- Trott and Prior.
Worrying times.

Another failure for KP.
Cook's failures are highlighted on this forum and elsewhere. But what the captain himself? Apart from that half ton in 2nd innings, Strauss too hasn't been too hot with the bat in this series. In fact, he hasn't dome much of note during last year or so. 624 runs in 10 tests @ 39, without a ton to his name.
And when you see 4/10 tests were against B'desh, these numbers look even more ugly.

Of course the same could be said of the Southern Oceans Indonesians - turning it on only when playing their ex judge and jurors from Mother England.

Pffft... I don't think any of us have ever described our batting as anything more than 'middling' at the best of times. It's you guys who keep bizarrely worrying about facing Jimmykins & Princess Di down under!

It doesn't help the out of form bats that we're playing a very decent attack in some helpful conditions. They could do with batting on a flattie.

Gawd, Swanny removes Butt with a rank long hop. The Paksters' carpness knows no bounds.

Can Eng still take the lead?
A lot depends on how Yousuf bats.

MoYo looks in pretty fair touch, but you just get the feeling that a Pakster implosion is just around the corner.

Swanny thinks so. 43rd England player to take 100 Test wickets (or more).

Just shows how much short we were in the first innings.
