Sometimes it's hard to find words for how bad Pakistan's cricket can be. I wonder what goes on inside their batsmen's heads? I mean, WTF was Hameed doing charging down the pitch second over of the innings and trying to smash Broad out of the ground? England bowled well, but that was just self destructive batting.

Try "sh*ttifying" - the word comedian Charlie Brooker said he was forced to invent when, having used every negative word known to describe one crap Saturday night TV show, an even worse one came along!Henry wrote:Sometimes it's hard to find words for how bad Pakistan's cricket can be.

PMSL at pathetic Paksters. Saw their first wicket fall at 9 then thought that's the beginning of the end, but had no idea they'd lose 11 wickets in the day.
I wonder how many times 2 batsmen have outscored the total runs made by the opposition in a Test, as Trott and Broad may very well do.
Well done Engulund. A great comeback after a wobbly start.

Quite remarkable to think England will win this by an innings and 300ish with a day and half to spare after losing nearly all the first day to rain.

And being 102-7. It's really quite insane the turnaround in this test.skully wrote:Quite remarkable to think England will win this by an innings and 300ish with a day and half to spare after losing nearly all the first day to rain.

Icing on the cake of this statistical beanfest would be if Broad got a Michelle tomorrow to add to his ton. Haven't seen anybody score a century and take five wickets in a Test in this country since Sir Beefy took 6-95 and made 149* in some match at Headingley 29 years ago. Quite a turnaround there as well, if I recall.
(Sorry, Skulls, couldn't help myself ).

So now one of the greatest turnarounds in test match history resulting from a world record partnership will be completely overshadowed and tainted due to a few dickheads bowling no balls.
Wouldn't surprise me if the test is abandoned now and the record will be removed from the record books becoming null and void. F8cktards.

It must be getting close to being time to give Pakistan a couple of years in the Test naught corner.

No it won't be scrubbed but Pakistan may enter the record books as the only side to forfeit a test match twice...

Those no-balls were so blatant as well. I guess we have been very naive - I saw one of them and thought Amir was trying to intimidate Trott with his bouncer by bowling it from closer, Geoff Boycott said the same thing.

It's hard to take any test match involving Pakistan seriously.
