Johnson's innings was rather brief.

Course Hussey getting out has buggered up another of the dwindling possibilities of anything interesting in what's left of this game: Hearthrug getting all ten.

Herath becomes just the fourth Sri Lankan to take 100 test wickets.

Surprised Aus didn't declare. England showed that a result is possible against Sri Lanka with less than 30 overs.

Interesting stat that.
Suppose he's been a bright light for them in a very ordinary, inexperienced attack.

Well, I have to say that considering I genuinely thought we'd lose the series 2-0, I am delighted that we have jumped one spot in the world rankings.
And in other news, I will PMSL if Fuse makes runs against the Yarps.

Despite our recent indifferent form, there was nothing on paper to suggest that SL was going to be a shoo-in to win the series. Post Murali, Vaas, etc. they really only had Sangakkara and Jaya to recommend them. We've always tasted success there, even against their strongest teams.

2 x 100 and 2 x 90 in the same series for Hussey - I reckon that might be a first.

PS, the celebrations for Australia returning to Number four are justified.
Remember, in 2013, the ICC will hold a World Test championship, where the top four teams will play off. Of course, the odds of Australa still holding a top four spot at the start of 2013 are pretty farquin slim.

Who's going to overtake you? Sri Lanka? Nah. Pakistan? Doubtful.Zat wrote:Of course, the odds of Australa still holding a top four spot at the start of 2013 are pretty farquin slim.
Don't get me wrong, you guys are pretty sh!t, but I would say there is some distance between you and the next shittest team though.
