Though he's obviously learnt something. He now plays the bait outside off stump onto his stumps rather than guide them into the slips cordon.

I think Watto needs to learn to temper his JAMODI muscle. Bad shot. 2-22.

I, and most of us, have been saying since his first Test he was technically deficient. He doesn't have Doug Walters' class to overcome that technical deficiency and will continue to fail. FFS, he's on opening batsman - he should be able to cope with movement of the seam. He's farked - p!ss him off after this Test.

Well, I just put the TV volume on mute. I can't listen to any more of Charu Sharma. I think Tom Moody is just about ready to smash his head in.

FMD, what school of cricket did these Lankans go to? Easily missed the inside edge of Drunky's bat. Looked so live and was clearly so on replay.

2-63 at Lunch after a pretty typical first session of the Test. Sh!t shots by Fuse and Watto to have us at Benaud, then a slow but good recovery by Bog and Drunky.

Is it time for Watto to move down the order as well with Bog and Ussie/Kat to open?

FMD, what a grossly indisciplined display from all but Bog. That's 4 gifts to the Lankans. FFS.

Indeed Ponts. His numbers match the quality of his technique. He must go.

Cue a blazing ton in the 2nd innings. Mad

An interesting stat from Foxy. Bog now has 209 runs for once out for a career average at this moment of 209, which is the highest ever average attained by an Aussie (beating Kepler Wessels 208 before he was dismissed in his 2nd innings of Test cricket). Lawrence Rowe holds the record with 336, part way into his 3rd Test innings.

So 2-63 and 2-91, two sessions to the Lankans. Drunky and Bog looked to be starting to flow before Pontinf wafted at a very wide one, and now Bog and Paris seem to be moving forward. This final session will be pivotal.

And Fuse, what a sh!t player. One score (yes ONE SCORE) over 50 in the last 19 innings and yet do we hear the NSW media baying for his head like they did with North last summer? Nope. Of course not.

Top knock by Bog. Should play 50 Tests for Aus. Sh!t knock by Fuse, should play no more knocks for Aus.

Paris legend. Evenly balanced 1st day. If Paris and Haddit can smite another 100 we could be handily placed, but it looks a good deck.
