So does every person named van der Walt play golf? Everyone playing in the Royal Johannesburg is named van der Walt.

Shame Dawie isn't playing this week. Could've gone well.
Pathetic coverage yet again, saw one Dubuisson stroke yesterday, on his final hole. Although, on the positive side, didn't have to watch any of Westwood's abortion.

What a fine tournament for Dubuisson, brilliant run of form. Jordan Spieth is an insufferably petulant c*nt. OTOH, the Frog's interview post match. Good man.

And the Froggy pulls out the arsiest shot you've ever seen to halve the first playoff hole.... and then shanks his approach to near out of bounds on the second.

And fark me if he hasn't pulled out another miracle chip. Â The incredulity on Day's face was hilarious.

Great finish.
Some unbelievable up and downs even if Faldo's gushing was OTT. Ryder cup all but sealed for Dubuisson.

the real highlight of the weekend was Minjee Lee's win in the Vic LPA by 6 shots against a good field...three times in three weeks she has played in the final group on day 4 ...what a great little player

So the Koreans, not content with dominating the women's game themselves are sending their kids's to spawn in Australia and NZ to win there too?

so it would seem....Lee and Koh are both wonderful to watch...neither are metronomic as are most of the SKs but both possess a lot of flair and shot making ability

I don't watch the women much at all, apart from the Scandinavians who're a treat for sore eyes, but away from their general imagination in stroke making, aren't the Koreans usually fantastic in and around the greens?

Re: The Golf Thread (II)
aye...but Lee and Koh are also great iron players...personally I learn more from following women players around than the blokes...I hit the ball about the same length as the woemn players...the blokes just smash it 50-60 metres past my best tee shots so have nothing to learn from them re positioning and shot makiing
