Read somewhere that weather is supposed to be sunny and cloudy in parts.
Nothing was mentioned about rain.
A person living in London will tell us better. Where is Filo?

Probably tired of some forummers ganging up and having a go at her for fun.

To be fair, for every forummer that had a go at her there was another defending her.
She knows where this place is if she wants to join.

I asked her why she wasn't joining the new place. Told me she didn't get the link.

No rain forecast. Suppossed to be mainly sunny with a bit of cloud all day.
No reason to suspect any loss of play unless bad light closes in towards the end, but it would have to be pretty gloomy for that to affect matters.

Local London forecast has just said mainly sunny, no rain and a bit cooler. So maybe less swing (not that there has been any to date with these balls) to trouble the Indian FTBs (my wink smiley doesn't work in Opera  )

I heard that in this match Zaheer is going to applaud a boundary being smashed off of him, smile when the batsman plays and misses and cry when he gets a batsman out, begging for their forgiveness.

I wonder how many brawls he got into as a kid...

16. One of them doesn't count though. Fact.
Re: Eng v India, 7th ODI, Lord's, 8th September
So this ODI decider clashes with the gayball where England get knocked out of the European qualification thingy by Israel, and Steve McGowan loses his job.
Bad scheduling there.
What a choice us England fans have; watching England throw away a 3-1 lead to lose the ODI series or watching England failing to qualify for Europe by losing to Israel (FFS) after stuffing up a few matches against tiny, newly formed countries in the Balkans.
And we gave the world BOTH these games.

Meh. I'll be watching my hand battle my gland no doubt.
Re: Eng v India, 7th ODI, Lord's, 8th September
I could've sworn that Zaheer wasn't like this before that last time i saw him in a series. Maybe all that time playing county cricket made him more angry? Or maybe England just really pissed him off?

Or Alternatively you could watch England get battered by the USA in the opening match of the rugby which kicks off at the same time.
Ok maybe not.

Don't worry Jay. it's usually me asking for links but i won't be working on Saturday so i won't be getting JKL in any trouble (well, not about that anyway).
You could probably ask someone to point the way via their PM, if you wanted...

Someone calling themselves "filosofee" is registered.
I assume that's not her - tac or Sarah having a 'laugh'. I don't have her contact details - if you could ask her if she's joined yet or not, it'd be a help.

Flintoff to play tomorrow?
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cricket/england/6981949.stm
So its beginning to look like he's not done anything to the ankle but will actually have to manage it for the rest of his career and play in pain or with an injection...
Time to call it a day in ODI's soon? Get him on the park in the tests with the ultimate goal of Ashes 2009

If he can't get through a handful of ODIs bowling ten overs a day, though, how's he going to cope with Tests?
If anything it's the the proper cricket he's going to have to give up.

Re: Eng v India, 7th ODI, Lord's, 8th September
You would think that if he can't get through 10 overs he should give up.
I was thinking more of reducing the workload. No ODI cricket and very little domestic cricket.
He's just going to have to get used to the needle I think
