Good decision.
Hotspot suggested it as well.
Fine edge, but an edge is an edge.
Ah, okay, thanks ds - not watching, TMS-sing.
Tendulkar is now caught behind.

He didn't change his mind. He just took some time to refer it to the 3rd umpire.filosofee wrote:Batfink Begins wrote:filosofee wrote:Booing from the crowd on Dravid's exit. Can't the umpire change his mind, as one did with Collingwood's run out in the last ODI?
Silly.
You mean, the umpire who changed his decision in the last match was silly?

Dravid got a nick. Tendulkar's was far from a shocker.

So India loses its first ODI at Lords in more than 3 decades.
Well its a final, what else would you expect?

Neither were ridiculous. Dravid was out, good decision.
SRT's decision was a difficult one, no way a shocker.

if after this shameful summer the icc do nothing about the umps its a farce. more technology is the way forward, the umps are ruining too many games. the priority has to be to make the right decision as much as possible, hopefully in a few years the umps will be nothing more than coat-hangers. the game is not made for them, but they seem to break games pretty easily

obviously you're seeing some other match. there were a few inches between the ball and srt's bat. no evidence of dravid's bat hitting the ball either. considering the benefit of doubt usually goes to the batsman they were both very wrong decisions
anyways enjoy. i'm outta here

WTF is all this sooking about one decision which was very difficult to make and sounded exactly like a nick. Those types of decisions are made in favour of the bowler time and time again. It was no way a howler and the Dravid one was an excellent correct decision.

Snicko shows a clear noise at the precise moment the ball passes the bat, which to moi is evidence. There is actually no evidence supporting Tendulkar "being sawn off", due to Hot Spot being poorly angled and snicko having to overcome the bat hitting pad.

Jeez, no evidence????? Snicko showed the typical ball on bat profile as the ball passes the BAT and hotspot supported it as bat.
What do you count as evidence? The quality of the batsman?

Hot Spot proved Dravid to be out. As for SRT, inches? Joisus, not at all. Going is silly too, as is this "we've lost" malarkey stop being so melodramatic. As for leaving, come on mate it's only a JAMODI.

dravids after umpteen replays still isnt conclusive and the benefit goes to the batsman....say what you want but the commentators also seem to agree that dar has ruined what shouldve been a great final

I hate these boundaries down to fine, fine leg, especially when they are leg-byes.
