Honourable? Tubby has endorsement deals up to his eyeballs and is earning a fortune each year. Why would he give that all up to argue in boardrooms in Melbourne and Dubai for most of the year?

It’s a shame, because he’s one of the most respected figures in Australian cricket. A left field pick from me? I’d go for Ed Cowan. Not sure what business experience he actually has, but he studied economics at Sydney Uni and Oxford, and he’s one of the sharpest and articulate minds in Aus cricket.
