Funny, I thought exactly that when he whipped off the bails.

Babel and Google Translate had no idea either, but guesses welcome
Too complicated, Nerkles. Just Google it. Literally "Motherfarker".

India's batting is like a house of cards.

Any bets on Burns making more than 10?

Even with thirteen wickets they still posted a modest total.

Both a bit stiff to be gunned.
Via another medium, MrK said he was worried by Smith's approach since the Ashes i.e. simply not get out even at the expense of runs. This has seen him bog down and eventually fail.
I tend to agree. He needs to be a little more expansive early and just accept the odd failure caused by a "rash" shot.
Need something special from the lower top order + Shrapnel now.

After two tours I am still nearly as amused by Bumrah's approach as impressed by his bowling - at the top of his run he looks like the coconut-shell-bangers at the start of the Holy Grail.

And Green plucked out of mid-air by Kohli off Ashwin for 11 - looked promising but innings cut short, in no 42 he may yet prove to be the Answer.

Very poor and selfish from Smith. Std failure from Head. At least Green made double figures.
Lyon makes Ashtray look like a champ.
Australia - never beaten in a series here by the Bannies until Langer. Looking to go 1 down now, fekkin lol.

It is true, the poc bats well here. Just needs his passport withdrawn, which we all know.
Oh well we made it to tea and have passed the follow on mark.

Re: Australia v India, 1st Test, Adelaide, 17-21 December, 2020
5 failures in the top 6 is grossly unacceptable.
What makes it worse is that the bowling, while tight, has hardly been unplayable.
Weed and Monty played around straight ones that were barely clipping. Smith was foxed by a straight break. Head front edged an innocuous ball from Ashtray and Cam Green hit a long hop to E-Coli.
We'll be lucky to make 140, and are facing a hiding.
Pretty piss poor all round after the promising start to the day.

Well, we might get within 100 after all.
11 wickets AND a heap of dropped catches today - it's a result pitch, not a road

another one goes down, this time Saha drops Starc off Bumrah
If the Indians could catch we'd have been all out for under 100
