Weird that McGain got 17 overs and Casson only 1.

Oi ... Roo was a champ! Only Bright and Matthews in that list were oxygen thieves with the ball.

Twit - Matthews' only 10 w/m was in India. Taylor and Candles were rubbish but I think we'd kill to have a Mallet or Roo or Tim May right now.

Unbelieveable. Pujara and Mishra dropped. Whoever picked this team needs to be deported to Pakistan or Australia. Now.

Hauritz took 5/103 in a match where 40 wickets fell for 605 runs. His ineffective bowling in the Indian second innings cost us the game.
One of my great regrets is that Warne had to pull out of that match. He would have been unplayable on that minefield.

Not only Pujara and Mishra but sreesanth too.
Who has selected this XI??
I just couldn't believe myself when I saw that Kulkarni was making his FC debut in an India A match??
Is India A for debutant FC players?
And why are we rounding off to Chawla after having seen how badly he did in the test match played against SA? Why on earth can we not even try Mishra?

The softcock injured his hammy somehow.

McGain despite his 36 years is a genuine spin bowler who turns it and is pretty accurate for a leggie. I like him a lot.
Weren't there a few sub contintent wrist spinners who bowled at that age? Anybody remember?
