Re: Mitchell Johnson- How shit is he?
Phil Hughes has one of the worst techniques for the ball coming in from leg. I am surprised he was not worked out in the Aussie domestic scene.

And the Subis have been complaining about Rudi's incompetence for quite a while, join the party.

You've just seen how carp our test bowlers are. Imagine how bad the rest must be.

If he hits the winning runs he can be guilty of screwing sheep or supporting the Blues for all I care.

We've accepted Split Enz. Russell Crowe, Phar Lap and plenty of other Kiwis. The sheep thing isn't as bad as a Billy/Wozzie supporting the Blues.

The media are to blame for MJ's current lack of form. Same happened with Steyn and Morne Morkel when we last whipped England at home. They purposely over-hype the youngsters.
I would like to see Clark in the team for the next test. Its too risky to bring Lee back after his injury.

I think Johnston is paying the price for having been overbowled in the 2 SA series.

Bowled a fair amount of dross but the tracks suited him more. The problem was that he was the "go to" man and seriously overused.

Re: Mitchell Johnson- How shit is he?
Batted well today ... thumps the ball hard with good cricket shots and has a quick eye.
But his bowling this test was an absolute shocker for most part.
Ponting in interview this morning fielded a loaded question about whether Johnson would be considered for edgbaston with "We still have some work to do on him in the next 10 days, but I think (didn't say I believe) he can do it. He batted well this morning ...."
Sounded ominous to me ... but maybe that's Aussie-speak for "He's fair dinkum maite, and he will play ahead of that fat bastard with the buggered ankle/knee/organ ... Lee."

They've got a piss easy run out against Northamptoncack. I expect Johnson, Bung and Clark will all have a happy time, find some form.
