Give it to Belly. He's already proved himself with the bat. Now it's time for him to step up to the plate, and ask for more.

Yup, they've played really well. Going to be bloody hard to take another 17 wickets and fit in another innings of theirs in 3 days though.

Trott plays one on, so to speak.
174/4.
Belly to grit out an, erm, gritty 200.

From Cricinfo:-
Sage
.
Lots of you are very unhappy with the umpiring in this Test, and Omi's words sum up the frustration: "These sort of umpiring blunders have become almost staple to the Bangladeshi cause. Any match they win, they practically have to get 12 wickets instead of 10, and 24 if it is a Test match... It is unfair, and bad for the game, and there seems to be no remedy, apart from more able umpires officiating the Bangladeshi Tests, but even that is based on their rankings. So it's a lose lose situation for Bangladesh."

And from cricbuzz:
"Bangladesh are playing with 13 english players out there, two umpires and 11 English batsmen, the umpiring has been absolutely appalling here"

Sez our Zoggie in the sincere hope that, having yet again over-inflated his batting average, the little pr*ck will get more of the same against the Bangles in the home series - thus ensuring his passage (no, not his back passage , that's reserved for Gashley) to Oz is guaranteed for Ashes '10/'11.
What a Belfy little legend he is.
He's remains a "pretty boy" tosser ... and only three centuries and four fifties in Tests Down Under will go a small way towards his redemption and final acceptance.

If ever there was a perfect example of an FTB ( and one whom, like Goebbels, has no balls at all ) it's the bell-hop.
Other than one, possibly two innings which stand out where he has performed when under pressure, this "I'll suck-up-to-Gashley" prodigee has done SFA to convince he's anything other than an over rated CC player who looks pretty but acts like a eunuch.

Well, I certainly would have rather him out than Swann, at least Swann would have been entertaining. Red ink hunting against Bangladesh isn't particularly endearing.

I'm probbably being harsh, I know it wasn't totally safe when he came in to bat, it's still fecking boring to watch though.

Bit harsh, Bressie did a good job. Seems to be a much unloved character. Maybe not 'top' test class but will always put the hard yards in and significantly better at both disciplines than Flintoff was at this stage of his career.
Interesting that Broady is now below Swann & Bresnan in the batting order! i still hope that England are flexible as against a second new ball i'd still put Broad in above Swanny.
Pity about the 3 wickets that fell inc. Bell towards the end there - we might have been able to press on for a substantial lead

They have to get good enough to ride some lousy decisions just like the rest of the international sides.

That's pretty funny given it's a Snoozer and an Aussie that are standing as the main umps. If they were biased in any way, it certainly wouldn't be FOR the Poms.
