It's not a matter of bias but of competence. Umpiring has definitely been of a poor standard in both this series and the ODIs. If Bresnan gets to three figures tomorrow Bell will still be left with the unenviable record of never having been the sole century maker in an England innings.

Cor, what a bore. At least we gave them some respect, but it's been a pretty dire day's watching all in all. Honestly, it's as bad as watching NZ or something. I put it that we have four crabs in the top 6 and that the other two get out to slapdash bollocks once every two innings. Ghastly.

Fair enough, I think the 'red ink hunting against the Bangles' isn't really fair at all though to Bresnan. Against their 4 spinners on a sub-continental pitch is probably more of a test than on a flat oval deck against the likes of NZ or WI.
No-one can deny it was turgid though.

Still not in the bag for Engerland.

It all revolves around Tamim - if he kicks off tomorrow the Bangles could set us 300+. If he goes cheaply, the rest might come quietly.

Quick wickets vital for Bangladesh today. How's the pitch holding up? Is the prediction of a late-match minefield looking accurate?

It is good that they have at least learnt the sooking part about being a test nation. I guess having England over was good experience.

Given one of their neighbours, I would have thought they'd have had the sooking down pat years ago.

So, only 20 ahead with only 2 wickets left and to bat last.
Though England have shown more compsure and consistency than of yore in the claggy heat, it's completely fcukuppable, isn't it?
Poms can't claim the heat. They will soon have to expect something similar in temperature (if probably a bit less heavy) in Brisbane in particular.
I am guessing Broad was put down the order so he would concentrate primarily on bowling, and any runs as a bonus? while coming back from injury and illness.
Brezzy for Brizzy?

Broad's not even in the side for his batting anymore.
Batting's gone backwards, bowling's gone backwards - what a f*cking star.

Bangles lead by 30 with 8 wickets in hand. If they get a few umpiring get-squars over the next day and a half, it'll be interesting.

120 overs to go in the match, Bangles will need to bat for 70 of those to have a shot at the draw.

The Bangers have a lot of bad luck.
.
39.4
Tredwell to Junaid Siddique, OUT, oh dear, unlucky for Siddique! He drives firmly off the back foot into Cook's boot, who was taking evasive action at silly point, it looped gently back to Tredwell to collect his first wicket of the innings. Desperate misfortune for Siddique and Bangladesh really wobbling now.
Junaid Siddique c & b Tredwell 34 (113b 5x4 0x6) SR: 30.08

The draw?????
The Bangla Dees are going for the win. They'll get a lead of 200-250 & then declare.

The umps (and now it seems, the Gods) have already seen to that.
A draw will be Bangles best ever test performance I think.

The level of whinging from the Bungle posters over on PP is unreal. They go on and on about white umpires cheating them out of the game and slow English batting.

Could you PM them & invite them over to Flaming Bails? This place could do with some real Bangladesh posters.

Indeed. All the YTs here can patronise the crap out of them and the subis can perpetuate the status quo of the Subi hierarchy and remind them how crap they are.
