Michael and Mitchell Johnson are both on the WACA scoreboard as M Johnson
Should be nice and confusing if they bat together
Of course, linking to a live feed of the WACA webcam instead of a saved still means the above posts aren't actually reflective of what was on the scoreboard at the time...embee wrote:

Re: Australian Domestic Cricket 2011/12
Pity Butters was denied his Michelle but good to see all the bowlers share the spoils.
Voges & Beaton were the only bats to offer some resistance.

Re: Australian Domestic Cricket 2011/12

Whats the story with the wicket MB?
Must have a green tinge if Tas put WA in.

Re: Australian Domestic Cricket 2011/12
Tas in early trouble at 1/14. Could be a close thing afterall.
Re: Australian Domestic Cricket 2011/12
Andrew Scotford (WACA cricket operations manager or something like that) was on the radio yesterday and he said it 'looked" very green
Should help the bowlers and be a great batting strip after that ...I expect Tozzie to make 500 and roll the wozzies for under 200 again

So a total of 15 wickets fall on day 1 at the WACA ... can't be that easy.

i see my beloved tigers ripped up the the worriers... i am so glad from 10,000 miles away. i am sure i will comment regularly on us and somewhat try to bait one of you throughout.... i haven't... decided which one of you yet... we will accept nothing less than a shield final
Re: Australian Domestic Cricket 2011/12
You're guaranteed another Shield considering pace sensation Luke Butterworth is taking stacks of wickets but still being inexplicably ignored by Australia's selectors.

Thanks Trevor, I'm sure all us Tozzies appreciate your confidence.
As for Butterworth, just don't stick him in the Pro40.

embee, what's happened to Duffield?
Scotford said on commentary this afternoon that his body isnt in the right condition to play 4 day cricket ...which from the other comments being passed would suggest Duff has put on too many kilos in the off season ...not sure if he played in the UK or if he was at home but as the group that stayed at home has been doing gym work and running since May it's a garquen disgrace that a contracted player can start the season so out of condition that he isnt considered for selection
Coota should have been picked ahead of Dixon

Re: Australian Domestic Cricket 2011/12
From the Midge pic, and the fact that a sh!tload of wickets fell, musta been a smidge green on a length at the WACA.
Butters continuing his great form from last season. Can he help the Tozzies to a tidy 1st innings lead?

Re: Australian Domestic Cricket 2011/12
Looks like the pitch beat everyone at the WACA yesterday. Tassie 5/142 at stumps. Bailey (49 n.o.) & Butters (8 n.o.) will hold the key on day two.
Re: Australian Domestic Cricket 2011/12
Billies finally out for 355...pommy patto gets the best return of 3/75..Vix are sooooooo screwed
