If memory serves, he was given a chance a few years ago & did'nt accept the challenge. His heroics in this game are no better than Gulbis in the recent Ryobi but even i would'nt push for higher honours at this stage.
He wasn't completely terrible in his only test match on a flat pitch against the World's best batting lineup. Typical of recent Australian selections though- Throw a young guy in at the deep end, then appear to be shocked that he isn't a World beater straight away, and dump him after 1-2 matches.
Crazy selection policies.

Besides, if you took away Christian and George .... and Klinger and Harris ...... and maybe Blizzard and Cooper ....... (and possibly Richardson) from the Barrels, ... what would you have?
NSW. Precisely. You can rest your case, Skully.
The Dubbers are bound to show greater pride, resolve and talent second time around though. Aren't they.

Just saw Warnie on the nooz. FMD, he's a mere slip of a man these days. He said he's as fit as he's ever been in his life and down to 78 kgs. Looked garqen weird.
He was being asked about rumours that is going to play for Perth Scorchers in the Giant Wank. He didn't confirm or deny anything.

Looks like Maddinson was starting to up the tempo before losing his stumps to Putland. 77 with 11 x 4s and a zak. Spivs 1-130 with Fuse crabbing along with a SR of 32.

He's prolly so full of diuretics that he'd never pass muster.

And then gets out.
Spivs only 100 in front with 4 wickets left and plenty of overs still in the Barrels kit bag. We are so screwed.

So Spivs got away with conceding just 1st innings points, but 5-402 in the 2nd dig shows what a sh!thouse effort the 1st innings was.
