To carry your bat and score a century in a session within your first five tests is amazing.
What a day of Test cricket!

That works for me.
Was it Fred who refers to him as Suburban Boy (for obvious reasons)? On a similar line of thought, names like Free Kicks, Mugs Game or Nothing To Lose might come to mind. Or not.
I'll vote for TCS.

Not so sure about Sobers. If he learns to bowl finger-spin, wrist-spin, inswing, outswing and becomes the leading fielder at leg-slip he might be in with a shout but until then he deserves favourable comparison with the likes of Olly Milburn and Kris Srikkanth who also began the innings at a rate of knots. Might Oz, though, have found their next flat-track bully thus oughtn't he be referred to as FTB2?

So 2 votes for TCS. Seems a reasonable promotion.

The thing is this pitch isn't exactly a flat track. There's more grass on it than the greens at Augusta!

Yeah .... "the next Sobers" reference was light years OTT.
A likening to Olly (with two eyes) is more like it ...
Will Warner's knock now silence the WACA groundsmen critics that was so prevelant earlier on in the thread?!
If not, then it's down to shoite Banindian bowling and a bit of IPL-esque batting.

Blimey, carnage.
Well Warner is proving the critics wrong atm, not seen a great deal of him - what's he like against the short stuff?

India didn't look like they were in the game at all today but that Cowan/Warner opening stand made up for everything. That was seriously a great partnership to see live.

So that's India now nearly 0-7 in overseas tests and Duncan Fletcher 0-8 in his last 8 visits to Aus!

Couple of Tweets....
'David Warner trending in the UK. Starting to expect more of that, especially in the summer of 2013.'
'especially when he's lying on the deck having tried to hook stuart broad out of the ground'
Snigger....
