Aust T20 side
Reports today that George Bailey is about to be named as the new Aust T20 captain. There is no doubt that ShyT deserves to be dropped but Bailey seems to be a strange choice.
While there is no doubting his leadership capabilities, his current form has been average & he is still recovering from shoulder surgery which is limiting his fielding.
While its still just a rumour at this stage, one wonders why Warner has been overlooked.

Re: Aust T20 side
I thought George was ready to step into the Aus Test side in the middle order a couple of years back, but his form since has been fairly ordinary. I agree that he seems an odd left field choice, if the rumour is correct.

You can have Luke Wright if you like. I think his mum's cousin's nephews's brother-in-law was in the same room once when an episode of Neighbours was broadcast. That'll do.

Re: Aust T20 side
Well, BD's rumour was accurate. Gongrats to George, I hope he has success.
And WTF??? Hogggggyyyyyyyy!!!!!! is in?? Definite proof he should never have retired in the first place. On current form (cept Bog), looks a pretty good squad.

Re: Aust T20 side
One of the papers this morning said White was a selector of the t20 side. So I wonder if they shitcanned him and then got Bailey on the phone for the rest of the meeting...embee wrote:Is the T20 captain also a selector...or is Pup a T20 selector?

I got a text from him too. It was full of typos. I suspect he was typing with his boner.

There is no question as to his ability as captain, its his current form that is questionable, especially as his recent corrective surgery is obviously hampering him.
Re: Aust T20 side
Exactly, why carry someone who is clearly injured and out of form, and why the hell make them captain.
