Still need the Greens to fold though unless they also think that a few Coalition Senators might cross the floor.
Or they are merely looking to score more "its Abbott's fault" points.

Actually, I do wonder if his abysmal performance over the last couple of weeks might not give cause to some of the Lib MPs to have a chat with Malcolm.

BTW, no Aussie men through the first round of Wimbledon for a zillion years. It's reportedly Tony Abbott's fault. Very Happy

We could probably archive this thread in that case.

I'll just reiterate what I said last time.

Hopefully, Austen Tayshus will be running again in my seat so I'll have someone to vote for. Although he is a bit of a Zionist qunt.

Fark me, democracy can suck.

And would you believe it, the Prime Minister looking, well, Prime Ministerial...

2.06pm: Ms Gillard says if Mr Oakeshott's bill passes - and she believes it will - then she will re-open Nauru.

She will look again at temporary protection visas.

This review will report to Labor and the Liberals simultaneously.

Hang on ....

Weren't the Pinkos at the start of the week all quoting 'Howard's immigration appointee Metcalfe' that Nauru and TPV's would no longer work?

Yep. But in the spirit of compromise they are willing to revisit that conclusion.

What's wrong with that?

Reading the Mumble blog on the Australian

I didn't realise that it was Senator Brandis who labelled LJH a lying rodent. I didn't realise the slur came from his own side. Brandis denies it of course.

Basically Brandis had to clean up the mess of children overboard and knew that it was a lie from the start.

I always thought lying rodent came from well before LJH became PM

Actually, I might have to rethink my "politics is not boring" agreement with Ponts. Just been watching some of the debate on Dopeshot's bill. Now that IS farkin boring. I'm not sure anyone actually listens to what any debater has to say.

We should take credit on this forum for actually making Aus Politics interesting. It's clearly not a spectator sport. Very Happy
