What a qunt. Hope you introduced yourself properly ... 'the names Long, Miles Long'.
Took it as a compliment to be honest, I'm not the jealous type and if a bloke likes the look of my missus then he's welcome to stare.

Yeah man - I get the whole 'you've done well' quite a lot. It's all good IMO Wink

"playing well above yourself" etc ... perhaps all blokes get it?

I think most guys who are seriously in love, themselves get the whole "playing well above yourself" thing. So yeah Vilks lap it up and remember a self satisfied smirk is a lot classier than a quick comeback.

One of my clients has a few Ella Bache stores

He spent a shit load buying the machines

In a job interview he asked if the girl could do waxing ...she said she did her own brazilians and he could check out her work if he liked ...he declined the offer ( he claims it had nothing to do with with his wife being in the room)

We've just squeezed past the current nadir of a paltry 1,048 in May this year. We haven't had a 2 in front of the monthly post count since last March. At least we have been scratching out 4 figures every month.

Seems we are pretty much a 30 to 40 posts a day forum these days. Oh well, there's always the Ashes to fire the joint up a bit. Cool

Might have to ask the Assassin some not so difficult financial questions that he fobs off so I can call him a dense qunt to fire up some action. Razz

I always mention this place to people and encourage them to join in. People will happily talk shit on FaecesBook but seem reluctant to join a "specialist" crew like ours. shrug

Approaching 1800 posts this month. With 8 days to go in the month and 3 Test matches on, we will zoom past 2000 posts for the first time since March this year.

There's hope yet. This month so far has been the 2nd best month since January this year. We've passed 2,500 posts for the first time since March.

With a Brassy Advent looming and keenly anticipated, the forum may yet approach 25K posts for the year, or at least exceed 24 K (averaging 2K per month).

A decent England v India twat-off would assist ...

Barely 500 posts and we are beyond half way in April. The current nadir of 1,048 is looking under threat.

Dello! thou shouldst be living at this hour:
Bailsland hath need of thee: she is a fen
Of stagnant waters: tumbleweed, no pen,
Shellshock, the heroic wealth of hellish shitstorm,
Have forfeited their ancient flaming bails form
Of raging obloquy. We are selfish men;
Oh! raise us up, return to us again;
And give us bansticks, venom, licence, harm.

Thy soul was like a Star, and dwelt apart:
Thou hadst a voice whose sound was like the sea:
Pure as the naked heavens, majestic, free,
So didst thou travel on life's common way,
In cheerful godliness; and yet thy fart
The noblest of us low did lay.

No need to panic.

I have noticed such declines in the past coinciding with the IPL, that toxic, corrupt blight on cricket and more general waster of neuronal activity.

The Ashes are a mere 6 months away.

Seriously think there should be some sort of "classic" sub forum, where threads older than 3 months go. I occasionally drop in but it's become hard over the years to tell if a thread is recent or 6 years old so it's difficult to tell which threads are relevant, and with limited time it's tricky to go through every thread on the front page to check.

Well there are a couple of tip offs. The number of posts and the OP for a start. I realise memory might be a problem in your case.

Agree about the present absence of cricket beyond the start of the Pomgolian domestic season. Also agee about the toxic influence of IPL.

Enjoyed Petey'ssiren song to Jay.
