Re: Jimmy Savile
oh well fairy enuff...have had the great pleasure of meeting Fiona Stanley - a thooughly erudite and decent human being who has contributed much that will live beyond her passing...and yes there are a heap of noble wozzarians who could have been added to the list...Robert Drewe and Winton are two of my fave writers as was Katherine Susannah Pritchard (tho she'd be a bit too left for some here tho)...had a little bit to do with the grossed out silver bodgie - left me cold
an ex Ms H's dad spent time as a boy with Curtin - his stories about the wartime PM added to the lustre of what I had read about Curtin. Even more so because he was a self tortured type who rose above his personal unhappiness to make a grand contribution at a time of peril (Menzies and his mates in the top end of Collins St of course made profit out of the war)
well done on luring me into being a little serious (damn you!!!)

Re: Jimmy Savile
Someone on Facebook has been saying there are rumours about David Jason?!?!
I can't seem to find anything about it but that would surely be the most high profile yet? Hopefully it's just bollocks but I thought the same when Rolf's name was mentioned.

Re: Jimmy Savile
Dunno if this has been mentioned before - but there is a  rumour - started by a BBC female reporter (who had been "fondled" by Saville) - who claims that the murdered Jill Dando had begun her own investigation into a VIP paedophile ring at the Beeb whilst she was heading up the Crimewatch programme ....
Dando's murder (in 1999) has never been solved ...

I remember the Dando murder. I was living in London at the time and it was huge news.
Fascinating theory. Really hope it's not right.

So, who had Cliff Richard in the sweepstake?
I remember him in The Young Ones. Unfortunately, it seems one of them remembers it happening too...

Gods. Well, strangely enough I'm not that surprised. Although I thought he was asexual.
Re: Jimmy Savile
Not sure this one will amount to much unless they find something at his home.
However if he is found guilty at least it will mean his awful music will probably never be heard of again.

Asexual predator.
(allegedly)
Still, at least he won't have those pesky gay rumours hanging over him any more. Every cloud...

Yeah... I was going to call him a hornswaggling cyberbitch, but I thought the mantle was a bit too 'soft' for him.
Re: Jimmy Savile
Extra celebrations at Christmas this year, a Christmas free of Cliff.
Why couldn't he have been an upright moral vanguard like his brother Keith?

So Sir Cliff is allegedly a member of the creepy touchy feely iconic bunch too. I wonder if anything will come of this?

Rolf Harris apparently moved to a "soft" prison after bullying from other inmates, as further allegations against him emerge.
Just give him a piece of rope and stop wasting our taxpayers' money.
