None of this is really surprising, is it? Copious amount of sexual acts on screen itself, not too much more to do it off screen. That and entertainment has always been a f*cked up place globally. Brando's lucky to have died before his reputation was in tatters like the others.

Roy Moore, the Republican nominee for the Senate seat from Alabama is up to ears in allegations from a number of women who were under 18. His method was to cruise a shopping mall to pick up young girls. He was in his mid 30s at the time. He has not denied he was banned from the mall. Now this sadly is not remarkable. He joins a long list of Christians who are paeds. Even Fox has distanced itself from him.

I have heard stories about the Berk down the years - more the bullying and being an arse.

Bill Shorten was questioned on the ABC this morning re his views on prominent and powerful men sexually harassing and generally bullying younger women, and the culture of the organisations they work for enabling the behaviour and allowing such open secrets to fester.

The Feds have funded an ad about violence against women that is aptly confronting for blokes. Good on Truffles I say. Shortpants could equally be asked whether he supports this advertisement.

I know a number of women who have been abused (sexual/physical assault), inc some when they were kids. I don't know what affect these ads have on blokes, but hope women seeing them are encouraged to say enough is enough.

Tracey Spicer is due to release her "research" on the "Australian Weinsteins" this week, pending clearance from the lawyers.

There will be a bunch of middle aged and mature white men sweating bricks this week.

The article on Don Burke was pretty scary. I'll be interested to read Spicer's article.

Sometimes being a bloke is less than grouse. Still for every one of these deadhead criminals there are dozens of good blokes, inc a number here who have nursed ill partners and friends, raised kids as best they can and would not harm a fly.

Have seen Spicer interviewed a couple of times this year. Impressive. Like all good journos she has a nose and the determination for a story.
