Re: Ross Taylor sacked as NZ captain
Former Black Caps' captain Ross Taylor has taken to Twitter to confirm his availability for the upcoming home series against England.
"All the best to the @BLACKCAPS for the second test. Looking forward to working my way back for the home series against England," he told followers.
Taylor made himself unavailable for the tour of South Africa following his controversial axing as skipper in December.
He was replaced by Brendon McCullum on the advice of coach Mike Hesson.
Hesson and New Zealand Cricket later claimed Taylor could have stayed on as test captain, but Taylor refuted that, saying Hesson had made it clear he wanted McCullum to take over in all three forms of the game.
New Zealand fans will be relieved to see their most consistent batsman back in the middle order after the Black Caps were bowled out for just 45 in the first innings of the first test against the Proteas.
New Zealand will play England in three Twenty20s, three ODIs and three tests starting on February 9.

TBH, the lack of his presence, however minimal, will teach Hesson a lesson.
