MIKE PROCTER, the International Cricket Council referee at the centre of the Bollyline furore, labelled the past day "one of the most difficult of my life" and vowed to continue officiating the remaining two Tests of the summer.

Procter defended his decision to ban Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh for three Tests for the alleged racial abuse of Andrew Symonds during the Sydney Test, denying India's assertion that the assertion amounted to a "blatantly false and unfair slur on an Indian player".

"I am South African, and I understand the word 'racism'," Procter told the Herald. "I have lived with it for much of my life. This was not a case of just taking the word of an Australian over an Indian. I stand by my decision. I believe the process was a fair one. I intend to carry on for the rest of the series, because I don't have a problem with India. I have always had a good rapport with Indian players.

"Obviously this has all been very difficult for me. I didn't get to sleep until 11am, and then only for a couple of hours. It has been one of the most difficult days of my life."

Procter refuted suggestions that India's predicted appeal of the Harbhajan suspension - and subsequent threats to abandon the series if it is upheld - was tantamount to a gun to the head of the ICC. It is a fact that both “Teri Maa ki Annkh” and “Teri Maa Ki...” are commonly used. I used to use the latter all the time with my friends.

Pronounced, is is close to Monkey. Say it like this (don't actually say it to an Indian, or Pakistani!):

Teri = close to Theri

Maa : as in 'Ma' but with a soft 'n' at the end as in 'Maan' the west Indian way. (closest I can think of)

Key: as in 'Key'

Now say Maa Ki quickly. Comes close to Monkey.

However, to be fair, could just be creative reasoning by harby. Or a false report by the media

Highly unlikely. But possible. And I posted that theory waaaaaaaaaaaay before in this forum.

So if Harbhajan made the 'Your mother's part of anatomy that we dare not name here' comment, and gets off by claiming this, then Hogg gets suspended for using the word bastard, can we please tell the ICC to get rooted once and for all?
