How has Dirtbag got another game in an England shirt? Most of us knew after his 1st match that he was toss.

Andy Flower thinks quite a lot of his technique.
Re: England v New Zealand, 1st T20I, The Oval, 25 June, 2013
Yeah, he's no Jimmy Taylor. Well, about two of him in height terms I guess...
At least good old Pukey pulled it back for a couple of overs. Leader of the attack!

Poor Luke had the plumbest lbw ever turned down a few overs ago when I was actually watching.

This is quite an England team.
The honest county journeymen (Rankin and Wright) look too good for it.
The survivors of the ICCCT (Tredwell, Buttler, Bopara - maybe even the generally livewire Morgan) look like they couldn't give a jaded farq.
Most of the others look like the flotsam and jetsam of the county scene - you would back them to lose to Scotland, never mind Ireland.

Good to see you telling it actually how it is though for a change.
Re: England v New Zealand, 1st T20I, The Oval, 25 June, 2013
I still don't get why anyone would refuse an attempt at a run off the last ball of a limited overs innings unless the ball is in the hands of the bowler or keeper.

A potentially powerpacked England batting line-up. Tonk all the way down to 9
Re: England v New Zealand, 1st T20I, The Oval, 25 June, 2013
Interestingly, if you don't play any bowlers, you go for 200+ in T20s.
Who knew?

Been a big old wipe so far. It's nice to see shots from people in red shirts in the powerplay overs.
Re: England v New Zealand, 1st T20I, The Oval, 25 June, 2013
Lumb out now, sort of unfortunate, if yorking yourself is unlucky. England are smashing it though - 54/1 off 3.5.
Re: England v New Zealand, 1st T20I, The Oval, 25 June, 2013
Old Pukey - he's a dynamo isn't he? A boy wonder. He'd be in my T20 side every game. I'd go as far as to say that he's our best T20 all-rounder.
Re: England v New Zealand, 1st T20I, The Oval, 25 June, 2013
Well, some decent tonking going on. 201 is a good score in T20s in anyone's language.
Ferkin Dickinfo is all over the shop. Is the current score Eng 2-132 off 13?
Should be tight.

Great captaincy by McCullum to have a slip in for Morgan - even more spectacular a catch by Taylor.

136/3 after 14. We need 11s.

Morgan is done. Finished. Found out with no Plan B. It's kind of surprising until you remember that he's always looked sh*t.

We're miles behind now. Don't reckon we'll do this. Some really good bowling in the last 6 overs.

And theyve lost the bloody picture here.
