Have Aus ever had 3 more sloggy cow sloggers at the top of the order than Finch, Warner and Watson?

Finch has a bit of the mighty Boonie about him when he stands up straight and drives.

Ooh, no argument there. It was merely a similarity, not a class comparison. Wouldn't we kill for a Boonie in a Test side ATM?

No doubt.

Was one of those "bounce up off the tips of the fingers" jobs. But 3rd ump ruled that he couldn't be sure it hadn't hit the ground.JGK wrote:Didn't see it. Was it clearly not out?

It was out. Warner looked pretty embarrassed about being called back - there's no way he would've walked off in the first place if he thought there was any chance Buttler didn't catch it.
Fingers under the ball, technology that has been proven time and again to be unfit for purpose adding nothing but grey to what was previously a clear cut decision, and the outcome was the predictable fudge.
Not going to make a shit of difference in the context of this match - England lost it in the first 10 over of their own batting - but using the third umpire to adjudicate on catches close to the ground should've been dumped ages ago. The technology has never been there for it.
