You'd think the first thing any coach would drill into a bowler is NO FARKING NO-BALLS, QUNT!!!! Infuriating for the team and the supporters.
Yeah, Beefy was frothing... Nasser asked 'how do you prevent that? It's not as simple as putting your marker back is it?' Beef replied 'of course it is! Who cares if you release the ball from an extra foot!'
Stokes didn't get near the line after that - shame it takes a reprieve to make bowlers think about their front foot. The complexity of the game changed after that incident

Particularly in today's cricket where the imposters masquerading as umpires miss the most obvious of no balls, but refer every wicket taking delivery for checking.

Jamesy Tredders the superstar gets his second. TBF he's not bowled badly. You just think that he'll get caned by any player who isn't sedate.

Well indeed. How many hours did he go in last year's CC without a wicket?

309 overs, 23 wickets. 2.5 minutes per over?
Re: West Indies v England, 1st Test, Antigua, 13-17 April 2015
So, say you're an England captain, 150 ahead, 4 wickets to take, your bowler gets slotted once over mid off, first shot in anger for a while - do you take out second slip? I'd say no. Cook says yes. The question is: if, two balls later, the same batsman edges to the vacant second slip - how do you feel? I'd feel like a quivering focking qunt. How's about you??????
Re: West Indies v England, 1st Test, Antigua, 13-17 April 2015
I love Broad giving Holder verbals when dishing out the short stuff.
What a tough guy you are Stuart. Do you think that no-one's noticed what a pussy you are.
Word to the wise (well, Ok, the England management) - please tell him not to give it the big 'un when Mitch and Co are in town otherwise you'll be picking your teeth up off the pitch (and all our other batsmen will be caught up in the whirlwind and suffer even more so as a consequence).
When you have been found to have no guts whatsoever, surely you should be meek and as nice as you possibly can be to the opposition in the hope that they may not want to target your body but rather the stumps?

If it was me I'd feel like a qunt - but as Cook I'm feeling quite happy with the 'brand' of cricket that I'm employing. But then that's 'cos he's part of a conceited bunch of pricks otherwise known as the management team.

I shouldn't have been surprised, but I was. Infuriatingly so. What a weak, weak move. He's much more harmful as a captain as he is a shit opener

Esio avoids the pair...
Aggers claims he never bagged one. He was a genuine number 11 wasn't he?

Well the new opening partnership appears to be a failure.

England Test openers in last 2 years: 74 individual innings, 3 centuries and 12 fifties, average 29.70.
Surprised it's as high as that really...

It's no real surprise. Trott got a couple of decent ones really. But the way he batted was appalling, walking at the bowler, squaring himself up... He looked a technical wreck. Folly to put him in opening. Astounding that it wasn't noticed it in the nets / warm ups.
Cook is the same millstone as he has been in his last 25 Tests, where he's averaging 31.5.
Still, Lyth is pretty loose outside off so who knows how he'd have done. Worth the opportunity though IMO.
Don't think much of Ballance against lively pace bowling either. It's a slow and shaky top 3. Plain and simple. All we're doing is prolonging the inevitable. It's doubtful anything but stubbornness will keep this top 3 together for the foreseeable future...
Just like the WC all over again. Choccy is phoning it the f*ck in. In nigh on every other profession, he'd have been toast a long time ago. Again we're just prolonging the inevitable...

Well done to Blackwood on his undefeated ton (how costly was the no-ball). Didn't think his technique would allow it.
England shaky in I2 but well on top in the match.

Blackwood got a fortunate reprieve, two actually. But he's got some fight, some ticker, some shots... Worth sticking with for sure - he's been dropped twice in six Tests! He's only 23, they must look to the future.

There's an Australian Facebook group, created in Stuart Broad's 'honour' ... it sounds like you're keen to join.
